Evaluation is an important part of the learning model, but it is not purpose of the courses. Your results are measured in function of the degree of concordance between your responses and those selected by a committee of international experts in the field who have resolved the clinical cases.
When you complete each of the exercises that make up a clinical case (formulating hypotheses and taking decisions about its management), the system allows you to analyze your results.
Furthermore, you can obtain precise information about your performance over time when you enter the "Results" section in the platform’s main screen.
To sign up for any of our courses, you need to click on SIGN UP on the right in the top menu bar. There you need to select your country and specialty to access the available courses and summaries with detailed information about each course. From the course summary, you can access the registration form and complete your enrollment.
If you have received an email invitation with a discount code, you can click on the link in the email to directly access the page with all the information about the course. You can also access the course summary by entering your code where it says “Write code here” in the SIGN UP section.
You can sign up for a course anytime before the deadline stated in each course’s summary. After signing up, you have up to six months to start resolving the cases.
The number of academic credits or points that you can obtain depends on the entity that accredits the training activity that you are participating in. You can obtain information about this aspect in the course summary in the section “Certification” once you have enrolled and accessed the training activity platform.
Some courses have their own university certification. In the summary for each course you can see the type of certification, its cost, and the procedure for obtaining it.
Of course you can! You will have the continual, personalized support of your tutor, who you can contact for any kind of doubts or questions about the medical content or the methods used to resolve the cases.

You can access the online course whenever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from any fixed or mobile device.
We recommend that you access the course as often as possible—each week two new clinical cases become available for you to resolve. You should also take into account that the course summary specifies how long each course will remain valid.
You should start by carefully watching the video “How it works”. You should also carefully read the indications and methodological orientations offered in the tutorials for each step (“Tour this section”). This will help you to become familiar with the platform and to better understand the educational model.
Bear in mind that you also receive personalized tutoring from an expert in your specialty, who you can consult about the methodology or the medical contents presented. To ensure your experience is optimal, we provide you with a folder where you can store all the clinical cases that you find interesting, so that you can easily review them and incorporate your own reflections and annotations.
You will also be able to interchange your views about the cases in a forum with colleagues from within and outside your country and with international experts in the field.
If for any reason your response to a case is interrupted, you can pick up where you left off when you access the course again with your username and password
Whenever a new clinical case is made available, you will receive an email alert with a brief description of the case. We will also send you different systematic notifications related to your performance in the course.
Yes, you can. You will always have the chance to respond to the clinical cases that you were unable to respond to when they were first published.
If for any reason you cannot resolve the case of the day, it will be filed as an “adjourned case”. The main screen of the simulator will show you the number of cases pending resolution.
Yes, you will. During the training program, we will offer you a second chance to resolve the cases for which your concordance with the experts was less than 60%.
On responding to these cases for the second time, you will be able to evaluate your results in comparison with those you obtained the first time. This will enable you to improve your cumulative academic performance if your concordance with the experts improves in your second attempt.

Scheduled videoconferences
Groups of users at the same institution can request access through the virtual videoconference room. You can sign up by email or telephone. No special equipment is necessary—just a wide band internet connection, a microphone, and speakers (video camera optional).
