Practicum Script courses now award an official European university degree

Practicum Script clinical reasoning training program, developed by the Practicum Foundation, can now issue a degree through the Distance University of Madrid (UDIMA) that is officially recognized in Europe.

This important academic recognition is the result of a collaboration agreement that was reached between the president of the Practicum Foundation, Dr. Eduardo Hornos Barberis, and the vice-rector of UDIMA, Dr. Juan Luis Rubio Sánchez.

Professionals who pass each Practicum Script course can opt for UDIMA’s degree “University Expert in Clinical Reasoning”, which is the equivalent of 20 university credits (ECTS). This degree option, at present only available for gastroenterology, will also be available for pediatrics and cardiology in the near future.

Both specialists and residents from Europe and Latin American can opt for the UDIMA degree.
